Rebecca Goodman-Olshansky, presently the Marketing/Occupancy Director, has been employed at Tower One/Tower East in New Haven, Connecticut since June 1998. Her professional life slowly evolved over the years. While still in college, Rebecca began working for Second New Haven Bank in 1977 and began a fourteen-year career in banking.
She progressed quickly through the ranks, finding the many aspects of the banking world extremely valuable to her future course. After beginning a short path in Retail Banking, she grasped at the opportunity to learn and worked in International/Foreign Exchange Banking. She returned to the retail side of banking and then as a Branch Manager/Bank Officer running a branch.
In 1991, the world of healthcare was an up and coming field that offered new challenges and satisfied the desire to somehow be involved on a different level with "customers." Strongly interested to learn the many new aspects of the healthcare fields, Rebecca worked for two years as a Coordinator for a health care agency, and then was offered the position of Director of Human Resources. In June of 1998, believing strongly in the concept of Assisted Living and affordable housing for the elderly population she joined "The Towers" staff as their Marketing and Development Manager. Rebecca couldn't resist a new challenge; Assisted Living is undeniably the "wave of the future." Our population is aging and the need for affordable and low-income housing for the elderly is going to be even more important in the future.
