Edward Flamand is a professional building contractor who has been working along the shoreline for 30 years. His company Flamand Builders & Remodelers Inc. is known for uncompromising integrity, quality workmanship and functional designs.
Over the years Edward has cared for many of his clients, assisting them with maintenance, safety modifications, additions, updating and planning for their homes future needs. It is while being a caregiver for his 87 year old mother that he decided to fulfill a vision of creating a company dedicated to "aging at home" and so Aging in Place Connecticut, LLC was born.
Aging in Place Connecticut, LLC focuses on creating lasting partnerships with homeowners who wish to remain living safely, securely and with confidence at home. Aging in Place provides homeowners with safety products and installation, general repairs, modifications for special needs, seasonal home and yard maintenance, complete home needs assessments, and redesigning your home for long term living requirements. Edward and his Aging in Place team will provide maintenance and safety programs designed specifically with you and your home in mind.
Edward holds the certification of "Certified Aging in Place Specialist" from the National Association of Home Builders and this, coupled with his many years of building experience, makes Edward uniquely qualified to assist homeowners wishing to remain "aging at home."
Edward has lived in Guilford for over 34 years and is active in his community as a Connecticut Hospice Patient Care volunteer and a member of the Shoreline Eldercare Alliance.
